Our work centers around the feed, grain, and flour milling industries, but we have also completed successful projects in the food processing, wood pelleting, and specialty feed and seed industries. While our capabilities allow us to handle large ‘green field’ projects, we find much of our work has to do with additions, renovations, and remodels of existing facilities. Much of our work is done in operating plants, working around production to minimize down time. We also offer design and layout services. While a portion of our projects are pre-engineered requiring little or no in-house engineering work, the majority of our projects do require engineering. Our design build capabilities include deep foundations (driven piles, auger cast, caissons), structural concrete (footings, slabs, walls, floors, roofs), structural steel (framing, fabricating, layout), masonry, equipment (systems layout, support frames, access/service platforms, process flow diagrams, transitions/spouting), air handling (dust control, pneumatic conveying), and site layouts (facilities, traffic patterns, land usage, railroad layouts). All of our engineering and design work is done on the latest AutoCad software. While our focus is on the agri/industrial sector, we have also found success as general contractor for commercial projects.
