In January, A.T. Ferrell Company, which will celebrate serving the grain and feed industries for 150 years in 2019, introduced the Ferrell-Ross 12x52 High Capacity roller mill, which is designed to produce twice as much feed in the same footprint – up to 35 tph – compared to other roller mills.
“The High Capacity roller mill features dual 75-hp drives with integrated and adjustable motor bases for faster roll speed and greater efficiency,” says Sales Manager Scott Mayo. “This roller mill is also easier to operate and maintain compared to our previous roller mills.”
Improved Cleanliness
“The heavy-duty steel mill housing with sealed design improves cleanliness, and the Accu-stop fine gap adjustment with dial indicators enables operators to return to a previous setting for consistent grinding,” adds Mayo. “The hinged, cabinet-style guard allows easy maintenance access.”
