Warrior Mfg. was founded in 1978 as a manufacturer of structural steel support systems and material handling equipment. In 2016, it began providing temporary storage systems as a lower-cost alternative to upright grain storage.
According to Inside Sales Manager Ed Stoll, “We provide temporary storage systems that can be completely customized, including a center tower with fans and ground air to contain the tarp.
“We also can build systems that include the required bunker walls for circular or oval ground storage piles,” explains Stoll. “This product provides maximum storage with minimal space – 1.9 million bushels in a 320-foot-diameter pile.”
“Temporary storage systems can include a single or double truck drive-over,” he adds. “Although designed primarily for oval piles, a portable stacker also can be used on a circular pile and can be moved perpendicular to the pile for even fill. ”
• Center tower features an electric skirt and tarp winches.
• Efficient PLC-controlled fans don’t require on-site staff.
• Tower is completely shop welded and delivered in three sections.
• Standard circular systems are 260-360 feet in diameter with 4- or 6-foot wall heights.
