GEA Golfetto Sangati Semolina Purifiers Reliable, Easy to Operate

Durable purifiers result of company's worldwide mill design expertise

GEA expertise in milling equipment derives from the acquisition of Golfetto Sangati, an Italian company that dates back to 1921. GEA Golfetto Sangati’s line of semolina purifiers is the result of more than 20 years of technological evolution and improvements.

“Our purifiers were designed using durable, high-quality materials for longevity and is the result of experience designing mills used worldwide,” says Chief Miller Andrea Turco. “They are reliable and easy to operate. Product sorting is accomplished by 12 sieves made of food-grade extruded aluminum alloy 60/60 arranged in overlapping rows.”

Unique inlet box

“The purifier’s inlet box distributes the incoming products according to the flow and the particle size of the worked product,” explains Turco, “through a designated grid opening or closing, which operates as a distributor at the entrance of the first frame.

Next generation purifier

“With innovative features that place it at the top of its category,” he says, “our purifiers are available with 3 or 4 rows of sieves, the latter (Semolina HP55) have been specifically designed to obtain a more accurate selection of semolina according to grain size and specific weight while maintaining a reduced machine footprint.”
