In the summer of 2016, Cleveland Vibrator introduced a free 12-page downloadable/printable sizing and selection guide to help operators choose the appropriate industrial vibrator for their application.
According to President and CEO Craig Macklin, the selection guide takes a new approach to selecting an industrial vibrator, with an easy three-step selection process for anyone looking to apply vibration to a bin, hopper, chute, or pipe.
“Selection guides previously were geared to the amount of material a bin or hopper contained,” explains Macklin. “Our new selection guide focuses on the geometry of the bin or hopper, including its size, shape and wall thickness.”
Reducing Damage
“Industrial vibrators are common and very useful devices to help material flow by breaking the bonds of cohesion,” he adds. “Selecting the correct size vibrator reduces the chance of equipment damage, if sizing is done incorrectly.”.
