Boss Products was founded in 2012 to supply EcoMAXX™ fire and explosion protection components for use in industrial dust control applications.
During 2017, the company added the EcoMAXX/VigilEX flameless, flat and HP domed explosion vents. These vents are designed to prevent damage to workers and property if a dust explosion occurs.
Just-In-Time Stocking Program
Owner/Partner Nick Schlentz states, “our commitment to ship our fire and explosion components within one to six weeks of order placement is a significant benefit to our customers.
“We maintain a Just-In-Time stocking program for our EcoMAXX/VigilEX explosion vents along with our explosion isolation valves, high-speed abort gates, and spark detection and extinguishing systems,” he explains. “EcoMAXX (NRV) explosion isolation valves are stocked in sizes 7 to 52 inches diameter, high-speed abort gates in sizes 8 to 50 inch diameter and up to 58 inches as special order.”
FM-Approved and ATEX Certifications
“It is very important to offer products with the most current approvals and certifications,” says Schlentz. “We are very proud to supply the EcoMAXX/VigilEX flameless vents from stock in 10 sizes that are ATEX-certified under the new EN 160009 ATEX norm at 500 kst, along with our spark detection and extinguishing systems that are FM-approved under the most recent standard.”
