Premier Components was established in 2004 by owner Jake Everdeen in rural central Michigan with the goal of becoming a leading supplier of grain handling and feed mill equipment and accessories for the grain, feed, and milling industries.
According to Denyce Travis, sales/marketing, the origin of the company name is as straightforward as they come: to simply be a premier source for grain handling components. “We knew the term ‘components’ would seem vague, but the thought process was that we didn’t know where we were going to start and stop in our capabilities, and the sky is the limit for us,” says Travis.
“In 2004, our first catalog was 18 pages – it’s more than 90 pages today, 15 years later,” she adds. “We carry a wide range of mill accessories.”
Today, the name Premier Components is synonymous with the same values the company has adhered to from the beginning: providing premier service, pricing, and products to customers.
